North Fork Chocolate

Vendor Biography

Our journey started in 2012 wholesaling gourmet desserts to restaurants, gourmet shops, and country clubs. One day Chef Steve had an epiphany and said I want to make chocolate!  We landed at the Stony Brook University Incubator at Calverton and developed off a dream. We were the first graduates of the program each of us with $500 in our pockets built our business promoting at farmers markets and country fairs. We landed a pop-up in Tanger Outlets Riverhead NY till we landed our first brick and mortar in 2014 on the North Fork in  Aquebogue NY.  As we look back it has been a lot of hard work, sweat, and tears, and wonderful customers each and every day.  Our goal is to open other locations in the near future helping more local businesses, farmers, crafters, and food artisans.

These days we handcraft “small batch” Artisanal Chocolates and individual size gourmet desserts using LOCAL farm and purveyor products on Long Island.  Only fresh, natural, and or organic ingredients go into our products. We craft our own proprietary blend of Belgian chocolate that surrounds local handcrafted centers created from; fresh fruits, cream, sea salt, herbs, honey, spice, wine, and spirits.

Our pies, cakes, tortes, and tarts are created with the same farm-fresh local ingredients.

We are now crafting Organic Fair Trade chocolate bars from the cacao bean stone-ground to the perfect bar. Dairy-free, Soy-free, and free of the top allergens.

Our homemade Ice cream is all-natural from real dairy milk, not a mix, everything from scratch. Fudge too!

Now serving Belgian Liege Waffles, espresso, organic coffee
